NavBot-EN01 is a desktop educational robot with a hybrid way of moving: it combines legs and wheels (wheel-legged). It is an open STEM platform for students, teachers, and makers, not a service robot: it fits on a desk and serves for studying balancing, motor control, and robotics in general.

The robot's brain is an ESP32. Brushless motors are driven by an L6234PD driver, shaft position is read by an AS5600 encoder over the I2C bus, and an MPU6050 IMU handles balance. The whole architecture is modular: motors, sensors, and boards can be swapped, and the source code and 3D models are open.

Weighing 322 grams with the battery, the EN01 reaches 0.3 m/s and takes inclines up to 15°. The 700 mAh Li-ion battery lasts 1-1.5 hours of operation, with standing consumption around 3 W. It can be programmed in Arduino and through mobile apps for Android and iOS.
