UFACTORY xArm 5 is a five-axis collaborative arm with a 700 mm reach and a 3 kg payload. It holds ±0.1 mm repeatability, moves the tool at up to 1 m/s, and weighs just 11.3 kg. The body is aluminum and carbon fiber, with harmonic-drive actuators and 17-bit absolute encoders.
Five axes instead of six simplify programming and lower the price where full wrist rotation is not needed: pick-and-place, simple stacking, machine tending. A good entry point into industrial robotic arms for light automation.
